We Are Spark

Spark was founded in 2017 by two Valpo students, Jasmine DeLara and Luke Bridwell, and has continued to spread the power of camp ever since. We are a student-led organization that works to foster connection on three levels: Camp to student; Student to camp; and student to student. We do accomplish this through outreach and community-building events, career fairs, application support, and aiding in job postings. We are headquartered in the Valparaiso University Church Relations Department but are reaching out to students beyond our campus. We have a passion for building relationships with the students and camp professionals we serve. We believe that camp is a place that fosters tremendous personal growth, even if long-term camp work isn't the right fit for every individual. We know that camp has the power to expose our passions and guide us in the actions that flow through it. If you feel that spark, that fire that burns through you, or if you want to, check us out!
