Voyageurs Lutheran Ministry (Camps Hiawatha and Vermilion)

Voyageurs Lutheran Ministry runs two camps in northern Minnesota that have traditional summer camp for eight weeks. Additionally, there are Boundary Waters canoe trips where VLM trained wilderness guides take groups in each week. As a VLM staff member, you will live in an intentional, Christian community and have the opportunity to grow in your own faith and you will be amazed at the things you will learn and do – skills you can take with you wherever you go. And friendships that last a lifetime! Each summer we seek 50-60 young adults to serve on our summer ministry team, serving as cabin counselors, canoe guides, kitchen staff, waterfront directors, and leadership staff. Internships are an option, we will gladly develop one with you.

Expected pay for the summer is $330-425 per week. Housing is provided and required. VLM is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and serves youth ages 6-18 and families. Explore our website below!
