Bear Creek Camp

Bear Creek Camp is a ministry of the Northeast and Southeast Pennsylvania Synods of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and is located 20 minutes from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Our core purpose is to help individuals explore, celebrate, and grow in God’s creation. We cultivate a dynamic ministry of experiences and community through having fun, sharing faith developing leaders, building character, promoting adventure, and embracing the inclusion of all. Our property of over 3000 acres includes forest, creeks, lakes, as well as modern cabins and amenities for campers and guests. Our summer residential camp programming is focused on faith and nature exploration through small-group community experiences.

Bear Creek serves youth ages 6-18 and families. There is a variety of hiring opportunities, summer and full time, check them out on our website linked below! Housing is provided and required and expected pay for the summer is $250 per week.
