Agapé Kure Beach Ministries

Agapé † Kure Beach Ministries calls and gathers all people to experience the Spirit through encounters with Christ, in Creation and Community. Camp Agapé is our main program site, located on 624 acres outside of Raleigh, NC. The Kure Beach Faith Center is our second site, located in Kure Beach, NC on oceanfront property. While we run a full summer of programs at Camp Agapé, we run one week of program at the KBFC.
Seven Major Goals for Summer Camp:
To build the self esteem and self value of all of our campers and peers.
To be positive Christian role models for our campers and each other.
To provide wholistic safety for all campers and staff - physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.
To instill a sense of creation stewardship in our campers and each other, and to use our resources to the best of our abilities.
To help build leaders in today's church.
To play and sing lots of music.
To have fun!
We are looking to fill a variety of positions, explore our website (linked below) to learn more about our opportunities for this summer! We provide and require on-camp housing.
Expected pay per week for counselors is $250 and $280 for team leaders. Staff members can expect to work with kids 6-18 and grandparents accompanying their grandchildren for both day and overnight camps. While we are a part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, we welcome applicants of all faith backgrounds!
